I have excluded some games such as Empire of the Sun and Fire in the Sky that some may argue belong on the list. Be they hex and counter, card game or whatever. So I decided to take a closer look at the naval wargames that the folks here at BGG rated the highest.
So with that in mind I have been perusing BGG looking at some of the naval wargames and there is some really good stuff out there. My Tuesday night historical miniatures game group is currently running a WW II North Atlantic campaign I'm participating in and I've been growing more and more interested in the two Avalanche Press naval series Great War at Sea and Second World War at Sea.
As you can imagine I've always had a thing for civil war ironclads but now for some reason I'm getting into the big 20th Century battleships. Not sure why, but I'm on a naval warfare kick as of late.
